Huike joined the China Kadoorie Biobank (CKB) research group in October 2023 as a DPhil student in Population Health. Her project investigates the associations between chronic infections and the risk of haematological malignancies using data from the CKB and UK Biobank (UKB). She is co-supervised by Prof. Ling Yang, Dr Christiana Kartsonaki and Prof. Zhengming Chen.

Prior to joining the department, Huike completed her BSc in Biological Sciences and MSc in Health Data Analytics and Machine Learning at Imperial College London. She also has an internship experience in the statistics team at BeiGene where she reviewed subgroup identification techniques in clinical trials.
